Volunteer Shout Outs
I’d like to say that ALL the volunteers are amazing with D he is Autistic, he sometimes struggles in certain situations, which made me worry about him joining Beavers. However, all staff have been patient and understanding with him, especially once I explained the situation.
I would particularly like to thank Ziggy for his additional understanding and Sycamore, with whom D has formed a lovely bond – so much so, that now I’m worried about him going up to Cubs!! TH.

I feel Lee has had a very positive impact on G. G has adhd and can be very hyper and excited, Lee is always very patient with him but also firm which is what works best for him! And gives him lots of encouragement. G has gained so much confidence and independence since starting scouts which he massively struggled with, and the whole team are to thank for that also! I could not be happier that G is in scouts and the difference it has made in his life. Thankyou!!! GRV.

I think all the volunteers are amazing. They are so caring and when my son was going through a period of being upset when we dropped him off, all the leaders were so kind and helpful.
I don’t know how you do it, but we are truly grateful that you do. MP

K would like to shout out for Andy, because he is nice and funny. He was also very helpful when she made her bat box and fire kit. FW.

I think you all do a fantastic job and invest your time selflessly for the benefit of the young people, they are very lucky to have you and will grow up learning valuable skills and discipline.
I am very grateful and it has been so encouraging to see T’s development. JN.

My son really enjoys attending Beavers, and Ziggy and Emma (22nd Central) are always really good at organising and delivering interesting, educational and fun activities.
Everyone seems to work really hard and well together to ensure the children have a positive and enjoyable experience. D.
